How It Works

It's a taxi. With a bulldog in it.
We've thought about this a lot, and it's still that simple.

Four panels: booking a ride on a phone, a bulldog looking out of a cab window, a passenger petting the bulldog, and saying goodbye at the curb
  1. 01

    Call, text, or book.

Tell us where you are and where you need to go. Please don't tell the bulldog, because the bulldog will tell everyone.

  2. 02

A face appears at the window.

It's wrinkly and smushed, and it's thrilled to see you. That's your co-pilot. The driver is the other one.

  3. 03

    Ride. Pet. Unclench.

Studies show* that petting a bulldog in traffic on I-95 lowers your blood pressure by at least the length of the Mianus River Bridge.

*We did not do any studies. The bulldog looked confident about it.

  4. 04

Arrive. Say goodbye. Cry a little.

Totally normal. A lot of people do. A generous tip helps with the grief, and it goes toward biscuits.

The Co-Pilots

Highly qualified. Barely motivated.
Exceptionally good at their jobs.

Every co-pilot is vet-checked, vaccinated, cab-trained and temperament-tested, and holds advanced degrees in Sitting Next To You and Looking At You Like That.

Senior Airport Liaison

Has been to HPN more times than most pilots. Has never flown and has no plans to. He believes departures are a sad place and will lean on you the whole ride to show it.

Late-Night Train Station Specialist

Meets the 12:47 out of Grand Central every Friday. Doesn't ask where you've been. Doesn't care that you're eating a pretzel. Okay, cares a little about the pretzel.

Pick Your Ride

Ride options for every mood

The Standard

Most popular

A clean cab, a pro driver, and a bulldog sitting next to you staring at you lovingly. The full Bulldog Taxi experience.

A woman in a suit laughing with a bulldog sitting on her lap in a taxi

The Lap Dog

By request

Same as the Standard, except about 50 lbs of bulldog sits on your lap. We aren't responsible for fur on your suit or for you missing your exit on purpose.

The Quiet Ride

For introverts

No small talk from the driver. The bulldog will still snore, and we can't do anything about that. Think of it as ambient white noise.

The Ghost Ride

Allergy friendly

Allergic or not a dog person? We get it. You'll get a deep-cleaned, dog-free cab. Somewhere far away, a bulldog sighs, but they'll understand.

Where We Go

Anywhere in Fairfield & Westchester.
Plus the airports, the trains, and the occasional "just drive."

We run local rides, airport runs, station pickups, nights out, doctor appointments, and those "my car's in the shop for how long?" situations. If you can name a place, the bulldog will happily go there with you.

House Rules

The rules of the ride

  1. No, you can't keep the bulldog. We know you asked nicely, and we know about your big backyard. The answer is still no.
  2. Please don't feed the co-pilots. They're on a strict diet of compliments. Pay them in "who's a good boy." They'll know if you're faking it.
  3. If the bulldog falls asleep on you, you can't move. This isn't actually a law. It's just how it goes.
  4. Snoring is ambiance, not a complaint. Please file it under "features."
  5. Seatbelts on. Everyone. Humans buckle up and bulldogs ride in their secured spot. We're silly, but we're not reckless.
  6. The driver picks the music. The bulldog has requested "Who Let the Dogs Out" 1,412 times. The answer stays no.
  7. What happens in the cab stays in the cab. Except fur. Fur goes home with you, permanently.
